That is why you will find exclusively organic cotton in its range, with everything produced without the use of chemicals or other harmful substances. Mushie is a brand dedicated to making everyday life easier for families with young children, while also supporting children in vulnerable communities. The brand supports families in need and works with several organisations specialising in helping local and international communities.

Mushie

Mushie was given its name for an obvious reason: the brand's founder shares the same name. She is a mother from the USA who, while on sick leave during her first pregnancy, filled the long days with something she found interesting. She began following various mummy blogs and became fascinated by decorating a baby's room and finding products that were both beautiful and safe for a young child, all at an affordable price. However, she found it challenging to find products in the style she was looking for that met all three criteria. Products were either beautiful and environmentally friendly but far too expensive, or affordable but lacking in style. She had identified a gap in the market where she could make a difference and help parents like herself find baby products that combine quality, design and price – and so this beautiful brand was created.

Today, the company is still based in the USA, but the brand draws much of its inspiration from Scandinavia, especially Denmark. The lovely stacking blocks available here on the website are, for example, called Rundetårn. As the founder explains on the brand's own website, they were inspired directly by the proud Copenhagen landmark built by King Christian IV.
