The company was founded in 2013 by a mother who had just welcomed her third child. This time, however, things were different from before. Her little son was born two months prematurely and spent his first weeks fighting for his life. Naturally, his motor skills were not as developed as those of other children his age, creating a need for clothing that could support his development and help him move forward in the world. This became especially clear when he was learning to crawl. He struggled to master the technique that would help him move forward, partly because he could not get a firm grip on the floor in his slippery trousers. This was where the idea and foundation for the brand began: to create wonderful children's clothing that helps children develop their motor skills and explore the big world around them. Aspöck Jonsen founded the company after consulting several paediatric physiotherapists and motor skills experts.

GoBabyGo's vision is to develop products that can improve children's motor skills, language and learning.
