Our wide range of styles and designs

Our wellies are made from natural rubber or synthetic rubber. Natural rubber is slightly softer than synthetic rubber, allowing greater freedom of movement while also helping the feet breathe. This makes the wellies more comfortable to wear for longer periods. As well as being breathable, natural rubber is also more durable than synthetic rubber.

You can also choose between high-shaft and short-shaft styles. High-shaft wellies are often slightly narrower around the calf, which helps prevent them from slipping off. We therefore recommend a long-shaft style for older children, so they do not have to worry about their wellies falling off while running, climbing or swinging. Low-shaft styles are ideal for younger children, as the shaft does not reach too far up the leg and restrict their movement.

Whether you prefer a short or long style is a personal choice. Some younger children also like high shafts because they provide extra warmth around the ankle. If the wellies seem too large or wide, your child can always wear an extra insole or a pair of thick socks. They should not be too tight, as there needs to be some air between the feet and the wellies. Otherwise, your child's feet may become cold because there is not enough air to help retain warmth.
