You can also find warm hats and high-quality snowsuits with a 20,000 mm water column rating and breathability of 10,000 g/m²—some of the highest values available on the market. These snowsuits allow your child to roll around in the snow and still stay warm and dry when it is time to take the suit off later in the day. You will also find warm wool slippers, perfect for slipping into after playing outside in the snow and coming indoors for a cup of hot cocoa. Many of the beautiful designs are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. This is one of the world’s leading certifications for textiles and similar products tested for environmentally harmful and hazardous substances. With this certification, you can be confident that harmful substances are avoided throughout the production and design of both shoes and clothing for your child. Many of the lovely garments also carry the GOTS certification, which stands for Global Organic Textile Standard. This international certification ensures that the entire process is socially and environmentally responsible. It covers not only the production of the clothing or footwear, but also the preceding processes, right back to the harvesting of the fibres used in production. In addition to these certifications, you will naturally find many beautiful designs made from organic cotton, which is both soft and environmentally friendly.
